Priceless Prom Gown Program Press

About Us

Welcome to the Priceless Prom Gown Program and thank you for visiting.  Priceless Prom is located in the beautiful Merrimack Valley area of Northeast Massachusetts.  The program was created and founded by Mrs. Carol S. Lanni during her employment at a local high school in the 2006/2007 academic year.  The idea was hatched when she was made aware by a large part of the student body, that they may not be attending prom due to the cost.  The purchase of a prom gown was the biggest concern as many of the students were from financially challenged familes.

Since obtaining 501c3 non-profit status, new volunteers have come aboard.  We welcome all of you and can't thank you enough!

Mrs Pamela Lundstrom, has become our Acqisitions Volunteer. Pam tirelessly ponds the pavement to secure donations from local businesses to obtain gift cards, and discounted services for the students.

In the 2008 Prom Season, the program was joined by

Mrs Carla Byrne, of Bella Beads in Andover. Carla has been a phenomenal addition to the program! She is such a creative talent with her vast knowledge and skill in jewelry making and repair, it is very rare that a young lady doesn't have some fantastic piece of "bling" to wear to Prom! Carla is also very instrumental in keeping the program on track in it's mission.

Working in conjuction with our team, in a joint effort to make sure the young ladies look their best these past school years is former House of Bianchi designer and former Fashion Teacher at GLTS, Ms Yudelka DeLaCruz.  Judy, as she is called, is an inspiration to making sure each girl is totally satisfied with her choice.  Judy brings great energy and knowledge to the program.

We are a non-profit organization that collects gowns for financially challenged students in order to help them go to prom. The program does not discrimate on the basis of income, our basic theory is that if we can help, we will.  Another goal we waish to achieve is to also help the young men out that are also in need financially.

On average, a prom gown ranges in price from $125.00 up to and over $500.00.  Not many can afford such a luxury.  Not only does the cost of the gown come into play, but the accessories, shoes, jewlery, the hair, manicure, pedicure, prom ticket, etc.

In order for this program to work, we rely on community kindness and donations.
